Manchester City Challenge - Cityzen Code, Yas Mall

An interactive entertainment destination built around Manchester City's brand, part attraction, part game, all atmosphere. I led the specification, supply, and commissioning of the lighting and control systems.

Lighting as part of the game

In an interactive venue the lighting is part of the experience, not just a finish. Scenes change with the game, zones react to activity, and the control system has to keep pace with content that was still being designed while the fixtures were being ordered. Commissioning a space like this is less about checking dimming curves and more about making sure the room can actually perform, which is why the controls scope mattered more than the fixture count.
